• 1. Описание на курса

  COURSE SUITABILITY:

  • For candidates without prior experience
  • For candidates with basic skills who desire professional preparation

  THE GOAL

  The goal of the course is to prepare the student for successfully passing the state examinations in theory and practice and acquiring a driving license (СУМПС).

  DURATION

  Minimum 30 days, maximum 12 months, with a mandatory requirement to successfully pass the theoretical exam before the Regional Department of "Automobile Administration" (ДАИ) within a maximum of 6 months.

  ENROLLMENT

  Enrollment is done via an application through the website, by phone, or in person at the training center's office. The student is considered enrolled after signing a training contract and completing the payment.

  COURSE DESCRIPTION

  This course is designed for candidates who wish to acquire the qualification to drive a passenger car. The training includes theoretical preparation and practical driving lessons, fully compliant with the requirements of the Road Traffic Act and Ordinance №37.

  Course ProcedureWHAT THE THEORY INCLUDES:

  • Theoretical training of 38 academic hours covers topics such as: Fundamentals of traffic safety, road traffic rules and regulations, road signs, hazardous situations, interaction with other road users, vehicle positioning, dimensions and driving techniques, driver duties, behavior during traffic accidents, case studies, and solving test papers (listovki) from the Executive Agency "Automobile Administration" information database, among others.

  WHAT THE PRACTICAL TRAINING INCLUDES:

  • Practical training of 31 academic hours, consisting of 40 minutes of active driving and two 5-minute briefings before and after the lesson (what will be done during the hour and a review of what was accomplished after the hour). The practical training prepares the student to safely operate a vehicle in real road conditions. It is conducted individually, based on a pre-agreed schedule, with an instructor and a training vehicle that meets all regulatory requirements.

  WHAT THE MANEUVERING YARD (POLYGON) AND ROAD PRACTICE INCLUDES:

  • BASIC DRIVING SKILLS – familiarization with vehicle controls, starting, stopping, clutch operation, gear shifting, and vehicle handling at various speeds.
  • MANEUVERING – parking (parallel, perpendicular, angled), reversing, and turning around in limited spaces.
  • HIGHWAY & COUNTRY DRIVING – expressways, highways, overtaking, safe distance keeping, and reacting to hazardous situations.
  • URBAN DRIVING – intersections, traffic lights, roundabouts, heavy traffic, pedestrian areas, and residential zones.
  • SPECIAL SITUATIONS – driving in poor weather conditions (if possible), night driving, using a navigation system, changing a tire, towing a trailer/vehicle, and high-speed driving on a highway or expressway.
  • PREPARATION FOR THE EXTERNAL ASSESSMENT (State Exam) – mock route driving, typical examination scenarios, and error correction.

  STATE EXAM

  The practical exam consists of driving a training vehicle in urban conditions within the territory of the city of Sofia, in compliance with traffic regulations. It is conducted by an inspector from the Executive Agency "Automobile Administration" (formerly known as DAI).The student drives the vehicle along a designated route, during which the elements learned throughout the course are evaluated. The student must demonstrate confidence, safety, and the correct application of traffic rules. Minor inaccuracies caused by a lack of experience are permitted, but gross violations that compromise safety are not. Every student receives written instructions upon completing the course regarding the types of violations and their severity during evaluation, in accordance with the current examination instruction.
